Teira Batfish; Platax teira

Seen at our further dive sites, especially Sail Rock, Southwest and Chumphon Pinnacles, hanging out in schools or coming in close for a cleaning session.
A favourite fish for scuba divers, either because of their schooling behaviour or as individuals, as they are not at all shy – sometimes even following along with you as you are diving!
The juvenile has a very elongated body, almost banana shaped.

The short video was taken when diving at the wonderful Sail Rock.
