August means great SCUBA Diving in the Gulf of Thailand!

Greetings from a hectic dive centre – sorry (as always at this time of year) for the delayed update! SCUBA Diving conditions are currently fine and the Chaloklum Diving team of PADI pro’s are working hard – our dive boat has been out most every day – to a calm, clear, fish-filled Sail Rock and to the peaceful Anthong Marine Park for some shallower dive sites plus snorkelling with some of the best corals in the area. You will see on Facebook and Google+ when...

Great Diving Conditions after the Full Moon on Koh Phangan

It’s 2 days after the full moon party and the sea in our corner of the Gulf of Thailand has turned a beautiful shade of blue. Nick was out beach diving at Mae Haad Reef with Padi Divemaster trainee Scott today (getting that underwater map finished) with some excellent visibility, and our boat made a dive trip to Sail Rock, where it was “like an aquarium”! And, as per normal Koh Phangan is quiet! – It does seem like great diving conditions turn up too often when there’s only us to appreciate them. Is there anyone out there want to go to the Marine Park…,...
