Diving’s still good on Koh Phangan as Full Moon Party approaches…

Underwater photograph of Flabellina Nudibranch from Chaloklum Diving on Koh Phangan. As Koh Phangan is still quiet before the Christmas rush we haven’t been able to make any diving and snorkelling trips out to Anthong Marine Park or Koh Tao, but both Sail Rock and our local dive sites have had lovely conditions of late. Some of the diving school PADI pro’s even chartered a longtail boat yesterday for 2 excellent dives on “The Structures” and Rock Point, aka Koh Kong. Needless to say there should be a photo or 2 on Facebook very soon.
The dive centre is starting to feel lively again as the team reassembles – Michi’s back from enjoying the scuba diving pleasures of Pulau Weh (much to the delight of Lola the cat) and Vince has returned from the frozen wastes of Canada! We’ve an Open Water Diver course started today and a few folks fun diving at Sail Rock, but the big news is that Mr Radboud is finally starting on his Rescue Diver training, prior to starting on the challenge of PADI Divemaster – we can’t wait!
And (finally) our Marine Life guide is getting even more interesting with the addition of some new discoveries, such as the Frogfish and the Black Gymnodoris Nudibranch – exciting or what ?
