Easter Greetings from Koh Phangan – and by the way the Diving is Good!

Spotted Coral Grouper at Sail Rock, Koh Phangan, ThailandIt’s great to know that both of our favourite diving destinations have fine conditions – we’ve been out to Sail Rock and Angthong Marine Park in the last days with good visibility and generally fine scuba diving. The weather on Koh Phangan is hot and sunny; not so good if you’re stuck in the dive centre, but perfect if you’re out on our dive boat!!

As long as the Marine Park is nice we don’t plan to visit our usual Koh Tao dive sites so much, but Southwest and Samran Pinnacles are becoming a distinct possibility. You will see on Facebook and Google+ when the trips are definite

And it’s always good to see Michael out on our dive boat; today he was at Sail Rock with Lance, completing a Padi Open Water Diver course with the Baron family from Germany. Mr Vince has reappeared from a beer-free couple of weeks, trolling around the Maldives – it’s sure good to be back, eh man? Angie and Heinz have returned and are settled back in at Mae Haad Beach, and have announced that they are ready for diving. Sail Rock tomorrow and Marine Park on Wednesday looks like the short-term plan…
In addition to nurturing the Chaloklum Diving social media, Nick’s been refining the Marine Life Guide; mainly trying to get the Bony Fishes section finished. BUT he would much rather take a days break on Wednesday at the Marine Park to expand the Nudibranch section…
