It’s been low season for a while at the dive centre – time once again to think about all those jobs that we forgot to do. And we’ve realised that it’s over 9 months since we posted our last Koh Phangan update!
On checking with our social media experts, it seems like blogs are not really the done thing any longer – therefore it’s got to be time for us to write the last post (a mournful trumpet blows in the background, etc…). Here we go:-
Our nice new Chaloklum Diving sub-office, based on the main road is now finished and working. A little earlier than we probably need, but it gives Nick an excuse to hang out at home – we’re not sure how the boss (Lek) feels about it though!!
Koh Phangan is generally super-hot and sunny with the occasional thunderstorm, and the diving at Sail Rock continues to be good – with another whale shark dropping by to say hello yesterday. As usual we’ve not been able to offer diving or snorkelling at Angthong Marine Park or Koh Tao, but we are managing a local dive trip or 2.
Mr Frank has been a fairly busy PADI Divemaster over the last few weeks, mainly because the rest of the team have been taking a low season break – not that he’s complaining! Anyway Michi’s back now and started on a laid back German Advanced Open Water Diver course, as Nick returns to exploring the macro marine life of Chaloklum Bay…
So, Thank You Very Big for your following in the past and it’s “bye bye” from the blog!
