Koh Phangan is always a quiet island at this time of year (coups or no coups!), so it’s an ideal time to be sending our dive boat for its refit. As always we hope it will not take long (please, please!) but don’t worry, it’s scuba diving business as usual at the dive centre – just a different boat to dive from, temporarily.
Diving conditions remain excellent out at Sail Rock, local dive sites are OK, and we’re waiting on updates for Koh Tao and Anthong Marine Park, which had gone a little green…
And although not a lot has been happening at the diving school recently, we do have some Padi training on the go – an Advanced Open Water course at Mae Haad Reef today, and Michael starts a new German Open Water Diver course tomorrow. Greetings from the team to Michi, currently taking it easy back home with the family, and to Mr Guy, due to return in only a few weeks after a hard stint in Switzerland. And Congratulations to Lance – it’s a great start to get an excellent TripAdvisor review from your first Padi course!
Despite all talk to the contrary, the Bony Fishes section of our marine life guide is pretty well finished. Well, it’s at the point where we think we’ve checked everything but we need people to look and send us feed back on what we have surely missed. You can let us know if you spot a mistake using the comments form on the bottom of the particular page.
