It’s Padi Courses time on Koh Phangan, July 15th.

Suddenly lots of people want to start their Padi beginners diving courses. We actually have 7 Open Water students currently in training (with 3 instructors, of course!) which is great news for the dive centre, after a month or so of mainly taking certified divers on diving trips or conducting Discover Scuba Diving.
Of course we are still fun diving; Sail Rock is fine, as you can see from the photo, as is Koh Tao, and we’re waiting for a wind change to clear the visibility at the Marine Park…
All’s good at the dive shop in Chaloklum and everyone is working reasonably hard. When Sean makes it back next month we should have a complete diving school team once more; but sadly he’s going to miss the first of the team barbecue sessions as we can’t wait ’til August to eat Raluca’s kebabs again! A few of of our scuba diving regulars should also be with us soon; looking forward to meeting up with Ozzie Alan – what new diving toys are you bringing this time, man?
Finally we’re not far away from the start of our planned weekly “Big Boat Snorkeling Trips” around Koh Phangan and to Koh Tao. More news to follow.
