Koh Phangan Scuba Diving options, August 2014

Reef Cuttlefish from Chaloklum Diving at Anthong Marine Park, ThailandHere at Chaloklum Diving School we are well aware that although Sail Rock is a great dive site, there are many other fine diving trips possible from Koh Phangan offering the chance for a quieter day’s scuba diving.
We are planning a trip to one of our favourites – Anthong National Marine Park, on Sunday and are considering providing a schedule with more varied big boat diving options for the next few weeks.

And it’s especially important for us to hear from some Chaloklum Divers as to what they think we should be offering – please check the trips that we offer then drop us a quick note to say what you think – is there somewhere else we should dive?

At the dive centre the team have been busy with a bunch of PADI Open Water Diver Courses – in a few cases people did the Discover SCUBA Diving programme, then just had to sign up for the full training! We’ve had some nice fun diving too; it’s been good to have our regular supporters Rogier, Marleen and Alexander back again for a variety of trips – with some clear water diving to finish at Koh Tao yesterday.
Looking to the near future on Koh Phangan, we’re making plans for a serious reef cleaning day in connection with PADI’s Project Aware, and looking forward to the return of Super-Tauchers Angie and Heinz, as well as (Aqua-)Marina coming to complete her PADI Divemaster training with us.
