Koh Phangan update – Chaloklum is hot; better go Scuba Diving!

As always May is hot, hot, hot and Koh Phangan is a quiet island. Although local dive sites conditions are not amazing (still OK for snorkelling mind you), Sail Rock continues to offer great diving and yesterday we saw the juvenile whale shark there again. Koh Tao should be fine also, but we’re not sure about Angthong Marine Park with that southwesterly wind a blowing…

Nick’s back from the UK, wilting in the heat, attempting to do the bills and anxious to get diving again. It was a shame to miss Heinz and Angie this time, but we’ll meet up (and make a diving trip together!!!) next time for sure. The diving school currently has a guest appearance from an old friend, Monsieur Eric, who used to Divemaster with us in the old days, but now spends too much of his time in front of a computer screen. Great to see you diving again man; have you ever thought of teaching a Padi course again? !

The German version of the Chaloklum Diving website nears completion, as Michael becomes the dive centre WordPress expert, and the Marine Life Guide is now updated as far as the fish if you want to look!

As Ever, the Very Best of Wishes from Chaloklum Diving.
