When identifying Lobophyllia Brain Corals (or at least trying to…) it seems that the critical factors are numerous. Are the valleys continuous or not, are they convoluted or straight, do the walls join together or not, how wide are the valleys (or the corallum) and what is the colony (or individual) size?
