Commonly known as the Australian Spotted or White Spotted Jellyfish, this attractive Sea Jelly is native to the Gulf of Thailand – but it is now regarded as an invasive species elsewhere on the planet.
Does it sting?
It’s not regarded as a dangerous species – but it probably has a stinging cell or 2 somewhere, so we don’t recommend handling one!
