Psammogobius pisinnus is distinct from other generic members in being very small. It is also associated with coral reefs rather than estuarine habitats. A good one for eagle-eyed students making their PADI fish identification dive!

What an amazing trip with Chaloklum Diving! The two dives at Sail Rock were absolutely mind-blowing—what a stunning spot! I recommend this shop 200%. He is super knowledgeable and personable and I immediately knew this was the right company to go with. Jess was our dive guide and she was amazing! Not only was she super clear in her briefings, she was really conscientious of everyone while we were diving. As an instructor, she was also helpful in providing tips for the second dive for things that she noticed which greatly enhanced the dives. She was even so thoughtful in taking photos of us throughout the dive and then sharing them with us afterwards! This was definitely the best experience diving I’ve had in Koh Phangan - thank you for such a great experience!Posted on Google
Natalie Kotrc20 September 2026In den letzten drei Tagen habe ich meine Open Water Diver Lizenz bei dem Instructor Michi absolviert und ich kann ehrlich sagen: Ohne seine Unterstützung hätte ich den Kurs wahrscheinlich abgebrochen. Gerade bei meinem ersten Freiwassertauchgang war ich komplett überfordert und irgendwie wie paralysiert. Ich wusste plötzlich überhaupt nicht mehr, was ich machen soll. Michi hat es aber geschafft, mir während unserer gesamten Tauchgänge immer wieder meine Unsicherheiten zu nehmen und mir stattdessen Sicherheit und Vertrauen zu geben. Man merkt einfach total, wie viel Leidenschaft bei ihm dahintersteckt. Das eigene Wohlbefinden sowie das der Meereslebewesen stehen für Michi wirklich an erster Stelle. Gleichzeitig hat er mir nicht einfach nur die nötige Theorie für die Lizenz beigebracht, sondern auch das Warum dahinter. Ich habe durch Michi so viel über die Hintergründe des Tauchens gelernt, warum man bestimmte Dinge auf eine bestimmte Art und Weise macht und weshalb die einzelnen Skills überhaupt so wichtig sind. Gerade in einer Zeit, in der OWD-Lizenzierungen teilweise wie am Fließband abgefertigt werden, fand ich diese super persönliche Art der Ausbildung wirklich besonders. Deshalb nochmal ein riesengroßes Dankeschön an dich, Michi! Ich kann die gesamte Tauchschule wirklich von Herzen empfehlen. Wir wurden super lieb empfangen, haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt und hatten einfach eine richtig tolle Zeit!Posted on Google

At the last minute I decided to take my open water cert and was not disappointed by how professional yet friendly and down to earth Chaloklum dive shop was. Getting my cert was amazing, but what made it an extra special experience was my amazing dive instructor, Jess! If you get the chance to dive in Chaloklum I’d highly recommend this school, and highly recommend asking for Jess! She made the experience so awesome with her calming, professional and informative demeanour. She was so supportive, friendly, fun and such a wealth of knowledge in diving! C'est une structure à taille humaine, parfaite pour progresser. Le propriétaire est quelqu'un de très honnête et bienveillant, dont le seul objectif est de vous faire passer un super moment tout en partageant sa passion. My instructor Jess was very kind and competent! For the open water dive we went to sail rock, which was an astonishingly beautiful diving spot.
