Costasiella usagi; Limapontiidae

Costasiella usagi is another Opisthobranch seen only at Koh Phangan local dive sites. Remarkable for being “solar-powered sea slugs”, they can ingest algae and transfer the chloroplasts to the cerata on their backs where they function as solar powered energy generators!
