The Season’s Greetings to all our families and friends from the diving school team, and a calmer Chaloklum Village. In the photo Gavin’s teaching our Swedish Open Water Diver students in the pool at Long Bay Resort, with rather nicer diving conditions than we’ve been having at our local dive sites!
The good news is that 2 boats went out to Sail Rock yesterday for the first time in a few days, and although the trip was a rough one the underwater conditions were much better than expected. This suggests that Angthong Marine Park might also be worth a visit soon so that we can go snorkelling too; we will keep you posted.
Our team of Padi pro’s are now reassembled and ready to go, with the return of Messrs Vince and Guy, although the only planned action around the dive centre today is some serious eating, drinking and socialising! The poor weather has allowed everyone to settle back down to Koh Phangan life, but actually we’re all looking forward to some diving and Padi training pretty soon.
And on the internet front we’ve put a couple more clips up on our videos page, our Google+ page finally seems to be working (famous last words…) and we’re slowly filling in the missing text for the fishes section of the Marine Life Guide – the last major task.
